The successful applicant will be a current registered dental practitioner, registered or eligible with AHPRA, and will hold recognised qualifications in Paediatric Dentistry or equivalent specialist recognition under NSW Health Award.

Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dedicatedDental Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry to join our team at Sydney Dental Hospital!

The primary purpose of the role is to provide specialist paediatric dental services at Sydney Dental Hospital and Oral Health Services including provision of clinical services as per the MoH List Management protocols and Specialist Referral Guidelines and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities.

The Dental Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be a current registered Dental practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), as a Dental Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry, with recognised qualifications in relevant field (Paediatric Dentistry) and or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Health Employees Dental Officers (STATE) Award.
