Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District in Moruya, NSW, is seeking a Dental Officer at Level 2 for a permanent full-time role. You will provide evidence-based clinical care within your scope across local health facilities, with a remuneration package of $152,367–$160,548 plus the Dental Officer Rural Incentive Scheme.

The position requires AHPRA registration eligibility, commitment to preventative care, and willingness to travel within the district. 38 hours per week, REQ687963.

Qualifications

• Dental qualification eligible for registration with AHPRA.
• A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to a preventative/population health approach to patient care.
• Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality and abide by NSW Health Code of Conduct in line with NSW Health policies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to liaise with a wide range of individuals.
• Proficiency in computer systems including electronic patient records and digital imaging.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters.
• Ability and willingness to travel for work; evidence of a Class C drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence based clinical care to patients within your scope of practice and manage complex cases across local health facilities.
