Job summary

Bupa Dental Macquarie Centre is seeking a friendly Dental Assistant – Receptionist to join on a casual basis. You will welcome patients, manage bookings and inquiries, and support both front-of-house operations and chairside tasks for clinicians.

Ideal candidates will have reception experience (dental or healthcare preferred), with strong communication, organisation, reliability and a proactive, patient-focused approach in a busy clinic environment at Macquarie Centre.

Qualifications

• Previous reception experience essential, ideally within dental, healthcare or similarly fast paced environments.
• Dental assisting experience is highly regarded, with the confidence to provide chairside assistance when required.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional approach to patient care
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to confidently manage competing priorities
• Reliable, punctual and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team.

We’re looking for a confident and personable Dental Assistant – Receptionist to join our team on a casual basis. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of a practice while also being comfortable supporting our clinical team when required.

Conveniently located within Macquarie Centre and just a short walk from Macquarie University Metro, our growing practice currently operates 4-5 chairs, with capacity for seven.

The purpose of this job is…

You’ll play an important role in keeping the practice running smoothly creating a positive experience for every patient. Your day may include welcoming patients, managing appointments and enquiries, supporting reception operations and providing chairside assistance to our clinicians.

You’ll be joining a busy, growing practice where being organised, adaptable and comfortable moving between front of house and clinical responsibilities will be key.
