Job summary

Sutherland Dental Group is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our modern practice in Sutherland. You will provide chairside assistance, prepare surgeries, manage infection control, and support patient flow throughout the day.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a busy general dental setting, are friendly, calm, and team-oriented, with strong communication skills. Training available for advanced imaging techniques as needed.

• > Experience with Core Practice, digital X-rays, OPG/CBCT, intraoral scanning and CEREC milling would be highly regarded, with training provided for the right person

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
• Setting up and preparing surgeries for procedures.
• Cleaning and turning over rooms between patients.
• Infection control and sterilisation.
• Taking digital X-rays, clinical photographs and scans where trained.
• Preparing instruments and materials for procedures.
• Restocking surgeries and monitoring clinical supplies.
• Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the day.
• Working collaboratively with dentists, other dental assistants and reception.
• Helping create a warm, professional experience for every patient.
