Job summary

nib Dental Newcastle partner centre is seeking a Dental Assistant to join the team full-time. Experience is preferred, though we’re open to a trainee or someone with limited dental experience who is keen to grow their career in dental.

This modern 7-chair practice delivers a wide range of dental treatments, and you’ll be welcomed into a warm, dedicated team that takes real pride in exceptional patient care and a great team dynamic.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant across chair-side, sterilisation and/or reception is preferred, though we welcome trainees and those with limited dental experience who are keen to learn
• Strong understanding of sterilisation and infection control protocols
• A caring, team-focused approach to patient care
• Reliability, punctuality, and a desire for high standards

Responsibilities

• Assist the dental team with chair-side duties and sterilisation
• Provide reception support as needed
• Maintain infection control protocols and equipment
• Support patient care and clinic operations

• Availability across Monday to Friday is essential
• Weekend work on a rotational basis - higher hourly weekend rates apply!
