Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a Dental Assistant for the Inverell Community Health Service. This temporary full-time role supports clinical and administrative tasks, working with dentists to ensure efficient, patient-centered care from 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Relocation support and generous leave provisions accompany a structured orientation. You will help deliver high-quality dental services, uphold infection control standards, and contribute to a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant Certificate recognised by the Dental Assistant Education Council of Australia up to the level of Certificate 3.
• Professional and compassionate attitude with strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative support to the Dental Unit to ensure smooth operations.
• Work closely with dentists and the wider team to deliver high-quality dental services.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience and maintain infection control standards.
