Job summary

Bupa Dental Coffs Harbour is hiring a Dental Assistant on a casual basis with potential to transition to permanent part-time. You’ll provide chair-side support, handle X-ray tasks, and uphold infection control standards while helping maintain efficient practice operations.

The role involves patient education, prep and cleaning of rooms, and collaboration with a friendly, supportive team in a modern 5-chair clinic near public transport. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dental Assistant or a willingness to learn (Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded).
• Strong chair-side assistance skills, including instrument handling, suction, mixing materials, X-ray assistance, and dental instrumentation knowledge.
• Ability to clean, prepare and maintain treatment rooms and equipment per infection control standards and WHS requirements.
• Organisational and administrative skills to support appointment scheduling and service quality standards.
