Position Summary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of people living with dementia? Reporting to the Education/Consulting Lead, Alzheimer’s WA is seeking an experienced Dementia Consultant to lead strategic initiatives, drive innovation, and champion best‑practice dementia care across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies that position Alzheimer’s WA as a leader in dementia care.
  • Manage operational plans and budgets, ensuring compliance with legislation and quality standards.
  • Lead research and data‑driven projects to inform service delivery and enhance outcomes.
  • Build and nurture stakeholder relationships, representing Alzheimer’s WA with professionalism and integrity.
  • Guide campaigns and key activities, increasing awareness and driving growth in line with our strategic plan.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in social sciences, human services, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of best‑practice dementia care and quality assurance principles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and lead small teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and related tools.
  • Experience in health or aged care, regional service delivery, and understanding of NDIS frameworks is preferred.
