Job summary

Compare the Market and iSelect are seeking an Engineering Delivery Lead to drive end-to-end software delivery across cross-functional squads. You’ll bridge business and technical teams, manage release governance, and remove blockers to align with commercial outcomes.

You’ll mentor teams, enable agile practices, and enhance planning, estimation, and delivery metrics while upholding security and regulatory requirements. The role offers flexible work arrangements and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software delivery roles (Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Iteration Manager)
• Proven experience in agile delivery and release management
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and delivery tools Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery across cross-functional teams; facilitate agile ceremonies and backlogs
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Owners and Project Managers to align priorities and plans
• Ensure delivery activities align with CTM Flow and meet security, regulatory requirements
• Track delivery health, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in planning and estimation
• Coach and enable high-performance agile culture across teams

What You’ll Be Doing

Are you ready to elevate your career to the next level? We're seeking an Engineering Delivery Lead, who will drive the successful delivery of technical initiatives across software engineering squads. Acting as the bridge between business and technical teams, you’ll ensure smooth project execution, release management, and delivery governance. You’ll support multiple pods by translating strategy into actionable work, removing blockers, optimizing flow, and aligning delivery with commercial and customer outcomes.

• Delivery Execution & Coordination: Lead end-to-end software delivery across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes. Facilitate agile ceremonies, maintain team backlogs, and translate initiatives into sprint-ready tasks.
• Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to align priorities, manage plans, and ensure clear, consistent communication through tools like RAID logs. Enable seamless handovers between business and tech teams.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure all delivery activities align with CTM’s delivery framework (CTM Flow), meeting commercial, security, and regulatory requirements within auditable processes.
• Continuous Improvement & Metrics: Track delivery health, manage risks, and resolve blockers. Drive initiatives to improve planning, estimation, and delivery efficiency.
• Team Enablement & Culture: Support team capability growth and foster a high-performance, agile culture through knowledge sharing, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What Sets You Apart

• Degree in a technology-related field or equivalent industry experience (certification desirable)
• 3+ years in software delivery roles (e.g., Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, Iteration Manager)
• Proven experience in agile delivery, release management, and supporting multiple cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and modern delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Strong organisation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and problem-solving abilities
