Canberra Stockfeeds in Hall, ACT, is looking for a reliable Delivery Driver & Yard Hand to join our team. This busy role blends delivering stockfeed, hay, bedding and rural supplies with hands-on yard and warehouse duties.

Your responsibilities include operating automatic Light Rigid and manual MR trucks, planning routes, loading and unloading stock, checking paperwork and providing friendly customer service.

DELIVERY DRIVER & YARD HAND Full-time/Part-time/Casual | Hall, ACT Canberra Stockfeeds is looking for a reliable and capable Delivery Driver & Yard Hand to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role split between delivering stockfeed, hay, bedding and rural supplies throughout Canberra and the surrounding region, and helping keep our busy yard and warehouse running smoothly.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving our automatic Light Rigid and manual Medium Rigid trucks
• Delivering orders safely and efficiently to homes, agistment properties and businesses
• Planning efficient delivery routes and working independently
• Checking delivery paperwork and ensuring orders are complete
• Safely securing, loading and unloading stock
• Regular manual handling of feed bags and hay weighing approximately 20–25kg
• Picking and preparing customer and delivery orders
• Receiving, organising and rotating stock
• Loading customer vehicles and delivery trucks
• Keeping the yard, warehouse and vehicles clean, safe and organised
• Providing friendly and professional service to our customers

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

To be considered, you must have:

• A current MR licence
• Experience confidently driving trucks, including a manual MR truck
• Trailer-driving experience
• The physical ability to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing 20–25kg
• Good time-management and route-planning skills
• A strong safety focus and an understanding of load restraint
• Reliability, initiative and the ability to work independently
• Friendly and professional customer-service skills
• Weekday availability
• Australian working rights
• Highly regarded but not essential:
• A current forklift licence
• Stockfeed, hay or rural-industry experience
