Job summary

Bidfood Wollongong is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Storeperson at the Albion Park Rail branch. The role combines driving with stock handling, order picking and loading trucks while upholding food safety and great customer service.

You will work across freezer, chiller and dry areas in a fast-paced environment, support a busy Illawarra region, and be part of a well‑run team that values initiative and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Pick and assemble goods for delivery and stock replenishment.
• Load trucks safely and efficiently.
• Deliver orders to customers and ensure accurate fulfilment.
• Unloading stock at customer sites and placing items in appropriate locations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic maintenance awareness.
• Rotate and manage stock in warehouses across freezer, chiller and dry areas.

Bidfood Wollongong is looking for a reliable and energetic individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/ Storeperson at our Albion Park Rail branch.

With well‑maintained vehicles, a supportive team and a laid‑back yet professional environment, you’ll be part of a foodservice network that helps keep cafés, kitchens and venues stocked and running smoothly in the Illawarra region.

You’ll build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted part of their day – delivering not just products, but reliability and great service.

About the role

On a typical day, you’ll be picking and assembling customer orders, loading trucks, managing inbound stock and, delivering orders safely and efficiently while representing Bidfood out in the field. The role will also require you to:

• Pick and assemble goods accurately
• Load trucks efficiently and safely
• Unloading stock and placing items in customer locations
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and condition
• Upholding food safety and hygiene practices
• Receive, put away and rotate stock
• Maintain tidy and accurate bin locations
• Work overtime when required to meet demand

Skills and experience

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Previous warehouse or Storeperson experience (a plus)
• Good communication and time management skills
• Forklift licence (essential)
• Comfortable working across freezer, chiller and dry areas
• MR licence (essential)
• Current Flu and Covid19 vaccinations
• Able to pass a pre‑employment medical (if required)
