Job summary

BOYT UPPER MOUNT GRA in Brisbane is seeking a hands-on team member to join our community-based, not-for-profit service. This role combines meal deliveries with kitchen assistance, helping to ensure meals are prepared, packed and delivered safely and efficiently.

Working closely with our kitchen team and volunteers, you will follow delivery run sheets, assist with ingredient prep, washing, stock rotation and cleaning, while upholding food safety and WHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to clients and other services in accordance with assigned delivery run sheets, providing friendly, professional and courteous service.
• Pack, unpack and clean eskies used for meal deliveries.
• Assist with ingredient preparation, pot washing, stock rotation, meal packing and plating.
• Support the kitchen team with general food preparation and cleaning duties as directed by the Head Chef.
• Follow all food safety requirements, workplace health and safety procedures and organisational policies.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and volunteers to ensure meals are prepared and delivered on time.

This is a hands‑on position combining meal deliveries with kitchen assistance before and after delivery runs.

The successful applicant will be organised, reliable and committed to providing excellent service to our clients.
