Job summary

Saab Australia is seeking a Sustaining Projects Manager to lead in-service support and engineering change projects across the Engineering Sustainment Team for Combat Management Systems on in-service Naval vessels.

You will drive scope, schedule, cost, quality and customer outcomes, engaging stakeholders through the project lifecycle while maintaining contractual alignment and strong governance. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher qualification in a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-service support and engineering change projects across the Sustainment Team.
• Manage scope, schedule, cost, quality and governance to meet contractual outcomes.
• Develop project strategies to maximise business outcomes and deliver contractual obligations.
• Prepare and maintain plans, budgets, forecasts, and schedules to hit milestones.
• Identify risks, issues and opportunities and drive mitigation.
• Lead reviews and present progress to customers and senior stakeholders.
• Manage contract variations and evolving scope.
