Job summary

The Department of Defence is seeking a Technical Officer within the Land Engineering Agency to sustain and enhance critical Australian Defence Force capabilities. You will investigate, analyse and resolve issues related to Defence petroleum equipment and systems, and provide specialist advice to ensure compliance with standards.

You will develop documentation, lead technical activities and support risk management, safety and regulatory requirements, with security clearance at Negative Vetting

Qualifications

• AQF Level 5 qualification in a relevant technical domain.
• Experience interpreting technical standards and procedures.
• Ability to lead activities in sustainment, testing and data management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist technical advice to support and maintain Technical Integrity across land materiel.
• Develop documentation and procedures to ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Lead or contribute to sustainment activities for petroleum equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with SPOs and project offices to achieve outcomes across the Defence capability life cycle.
