Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Supply Chain and Subcontracts Manager to lead a major program and strengthen sovereign industrial capability. You will collaborate with Defence, industry partners and suppliers to ensure exceptional delivery and governance compliance.

Ideal candidates will manage AIC initiatives, drive supplier engagement, and monitor performance with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. Australian Government clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business, Commerce, Project Management or related discipline.
• Strong experience in management of supply chain and subcontracts, including suppliers.
• Solid experience in management and coordination of Australian Industry Capability (AIC).
• Experience working within Defence, Government or another complex regulated industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills with cross-organisational collaboration.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and monitor performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the supply chain function for a major program of work, including subcontracts and suppliers.
• Manage delivery of Australian Industry Capability (AIC), Sovereign Sustainment and Supply Chain Industry Development initiatives.
• Lead engagement activities, including supply chain forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
• Monitor and report on AIC commitments, ACE obligations, and supply chain performance.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, industry partners and government stakeholders.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting to support contractual governance.
• Contribute to governance reviews and initiatives to strengthen sovereign capability.
