Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a bright and motivated early career ICT Infrastructure Engineer to join the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) program on site in Mawson Lakes, SA. This role supports ICT architecture, infrastructure design, and integration across safety, cyber, software, hardware, and systems to deliver naval capability.

You will work with a high-calibre team, conduct trade studies, develop technical documentation, and participate in system build and verification.

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
ITIL Certification (Foundation) desirable.
Excellent written and oral communications skills essential.
Ability to quickly adapt and develop experience in new technologies and programming languages.
Ability to apply technical knowledge to effectively analyse and resolve problems.
Understanding of basic network concepts and network device configuration.
Understanding of the application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Understanding of DevSecOps as a framework desirable.

Responsibilities

Supporting development of ICT architecture and detailed design.
Conduct trade studies for the analysis and selection of products to meet the requirements of the system.
Support the definition of interface requirements.
Developing technical documentation.
Configuring and integrating infrastructure components.
Assisting with system build and deployment activities.
Contributing to verification and validation of the solution.
