Job summary

ASC Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking an Estimator to develop cost estimates and proposals for the Multi Class Sustainment Program, transforming complex scopes into accurate estimates to inform bids and customer submissions.

You will work with engineering teams and stakeholders, build WBS, prepare labour and cost estimates, and contribute to process improvements, with a focus on analytics, structure, and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer scopes of work and technical requirements.
• Develop logical work breakdown structures (WBS) to support estimate development.
• Engage with engineering teams, subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather inputs.
• Prepare labour and cost estimates using established estimating methodologies.
• Develop quotations, basis of estimate documentation and proposal submissions.
• Support risk identification and contingency development.
• Perform cost analysis and investigate estimate queries.
• Maintain estimating records, reports and supporting documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems.
• Support discussions and responses to customer questions during the proposal lifecycle.
