Job summary

Sunstone Advisory is seeking applications from technical Business Analysts to support a Defence data and analytics program in Canberra. You will triage requests, define data products and reports, and help migrate legacy business areas to an enterprise data platform.

Engagements run 12 to 24 months with options for full-time or contract work. NV1 clearance or ability to obtain is required, with hybrid on-site access to a Defence establishment.

Qualifications

At least 5 years’ business analysis experience.
Experience eliciting requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience with Agile delivery, including Azure Boards and delivery plans.
Knowledge of data workflows and data modelling in data engineering contexts.
Experience with ERP data structures is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Elicit and document business and data requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
Triage service requests and translate them into defined data products and reports.
Support onboarding and migration of business areas from legacy platforms.
Map business processes and data workflows with data engineers and product owners.
Manage work within Agile teams using Azure Boards and Defence Service Management System.
