Job summary

C4i Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Architect in Australia to lead the design and review of secure architectures across Defence and mission-critical environments. You will translate requirements into practical designs, apply secure-by-design and risk-based principles, and engage with Defence customers and delivery teams to ensure compliant and effective security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Citizen of Australia with AGSVA NV1 clearance (upgrade to NV2 possible).
• Tertiary qualification in cyber security/IT related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Defence ICT environment experience.
• CISSP / CISM / ISO27001 Lead Auditor / SANS 401 or similar certifications encouraged.
• Willingness to participate in on-call roster.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with excellent stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and review of secure, resilient and scalable cyber security architectures across Defence and mission-critical environments.
• Translate operational, business, technical and security requirements into practical architectures, controls and design solutions.
• Assess security risks, threats, vulnerabilities, attack surfaces, system dependencies and emerging technologies, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Apply Australian Government security requirements, including ISM and PSPF, across architecture, design and security assurance activities.
• Develop and maintain security architecture documentation, risk assessments, control mappings and assurance materials.
