Job summary

Jobtailor in Canberra is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of large, complex defence programs under one or multiple business lines. You will manage day‑to‑day commercial activities for Federal Government programs and provide expert commercial and contractual advice across prime contracts and subcontracts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and managing commercial aspects of large Government contracts.
• Experience establishing, managing and implementing contract changes within multidisciplinary environments.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across commercial activities.
• Australian Citizen.
• Current Baseline security clearance.
• Willingness to uplift to a TSPV security clearance.
• May need to meet ITAR requirements.
• Dual nationality, permanent residency or former nationality of certain countries may be subject to ITAR limitations.

• Identify and resolve commercial and contractual issues.
• Lead or support negotiations and proposal development for new scope or contract changes.
• Contribute to broader commercial and procurement initiatives within the organisation.
