Job summary

Downer invites applications to join our permanent workforce at Randwick Barracks as an Electrician. You will maintain electrical systems across the base, supporting Defence capability with a high-performing, inclusive team.

The role requires a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, NSW Electrical Licence, and a drive to deliver high-quality outcomes, with a focus on safety and collaboration across trades.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology is required.
• Electrical Licence (NSW) is required.
• Electrical Testing and Tagging Certificate and White Card are desirable.
• Current open driver’s licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake electrical maintenance, repair and inspection tasks to ensure safe operation of electrical systems.
• Deliver high quality trade services, maintain WHS and environmental compliance, and work with other trades.
• Provide responsive and professional trade services to internal and external stakeholders.
• Focus on improving the longevity of fixed plant & equipment.
• Maintain clear, professional communication regarding works and outcomes.
