Job summary

Babcock Australasia is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support the Aviation, Defence and Corporate teams across the contract lifecycle. Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager, you will contribute to contract management, customer engagement, commercial governance, bid support and risk management.

This dynamic hybrid role operates across Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, offering exposure to complex projects, collaboration with project, finance and procurement stakeholders, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship with Defence security clearance eligibility.
• Tertiary degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience with ASDEFCON contracts, subcontracts, procurement or related governance.
• Strong written communications with attention to detail.
• Understanding of legal principles in commercial/contract contexts.
• Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Support full contract lifecycle activities from tender to delivery.
• Contribute to contract management, governance and risk mitigation.
• Assist with bid/tender activities and customer engagement.
• Provide commercial guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Support compliance and governance processes across programs.
