Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Melbourne is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to lead decision modelling engagements across industries, delivering robust financial models and client advice. You will manage projects, review outputs, and help grow the modelling practice while building client relationships.

Based in Melbourne (Meanjin) or other EY offices, the role requires 5+ years in modelling or 3+ with a master’s, Excel-VBA and Power Query expertise, and a track record in team leadership, business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years modelling experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Degree in finance or accounting with strong quantitative/qualitative analysis.
• Experience building and reviewing complex financial models; 3-way models, project finance.
• Experience in energy, project finance, infrastructure, or cost modelling valued.
• Experience in team leadership, business development and client management.
• MS Excel including VBA and Power Query; familiarity with other analytics tools adds value.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modelling projects for purposes such as planning, M&A, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganisation, and corporate strategy.
• Identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed.
• Lead report generation and detailed financial modelling.
• Build and nurture client relationships internal and external.
• Collaborate with team, mentor colleagues, stay informed about trends and leverage technology to enhance delivery.
• Seek out new business opportunities; participate in client proposals and presentations to grow the modelling practice.
• Mentor and develop junior team members and foster an inclusive, innovative environment.
