Job summary

Primary Connect is seeking a DC Storeperson for our Sydney Chilled & Fresh DC in Eastern Creek. You will join a dynamic distribution team, start with comprehensive training, and work at-site in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Role involves accurate order assembly, use of voice-pick technology, and operating Manual Handling Equipment. Prior pick/pack experience is valued, with opportunities for growth within a large Woolworths Group network.

Qualifications

• Experience in picking/packing to support store deliveries.
• Familiar with voice-pick technology and MHE.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assemble orders for delivery to stores on time.
• Operate voice-pick and manual handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Uphold safety policies and warehouse standards at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient packing area.

When will I start?

Allnew Primary Connect SCFDC Team members will start onsite on Monday 2nd November 2026.

What shift will I work?

During the initial onboarding period you will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. This shift pattern will then transition in mid December 2026 to one of the following:

Working Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday

Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:06pm

Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:06pm

Night Shift: 9:00pm - 5:06am

What's next?

Group interviews will commence week commencing 21st September: update your resume and include any certifications you may have ie Forklift Licence etc. If successful from the interview, you will be required to be available at short notice to participate in a pre‑employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and complete a National Police Check.

Please note that the medical assessment will be performed at another location, which may require you to travel locally.

Construction is now well underway for our new Sydney Chilled and Fresh Distribution Center (SCFDC). Located in Eastern Creek NSW SCFDC is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 75,000sqm multi‑story facility will transform our chilled and fresh operations in Sydney, ensuring we deliver exceptional freshness, quality and range to our customers

As a Distribution Centre (DC) Storeperson, you will play a key role in ensuring that the right stock gets to the right store at the right time for our customers. Master new skills to become proficient in using voice pick technology and operating Manual Handling Equipment (MHE).
