Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for site-based work at the Wetherill Park Facility in NSW. This hands-on role supports the reliability and performance of critical plant equipment, with the position becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities include fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment, with CMMS (MEX) used to manage tasks. Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, with occasional overtime and a temp-to-perm path.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as Mechanical fitter or mechanical engineer with relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with rotating equipment maintenance.
• Experience using CMMS to track maintenance tasks and records.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and manuals.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices around chemicals, confined spaces and moving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance on rotating equipment.
• Inspect pumps, gearboxes, motors, agitators and blowers.
• Interpret drawings and manuals to perform accurate maintenance.
• Utilise CMMS (preferably MEX) to manage maintenance tasks and records.
• Maintain safety around chemicals, confined spaces and moving machinery.
