Job summary

Myer is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator at the Eastern Creek Distribution Centre in Sydney. This role involves forklift operation, picking and packing orders, receiving and dispatching stock, and maintaining a safe, efficient workplace.

You will work dayshift, 38 hours per week, with Monday finishing at 2:30pm. A current LF forklift licence (LO encouraged) and warehouse experience are essential, along with good numeracy, literacy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence (LO licence encouraged) or willingness to obtain
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
• Confident with computers and RF scanning technology
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Good literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Commitment to safe and continuous improvement practices

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer and store orders
• Operate forklifts and move stock safely within the distribution centre
• Manage manual handling processes within the automated sortation system
• Receive incoming goods and prepare outgoing shipments
• Complete general housekeeping and administrative tasks as required
• Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures
