Bayley House in Bayside, Victoria, is seeking a Disability Support Worker for Day Programs. You will provide person-centred support to adults with intellectual disability, helping them develop skills, engage with their community and work toward personal goals.

The role involves developing activities, maintaining records, collaborating with families and professionals, and upholding NDIS standards. Not-for-Profit salary packaging and ongoing development are offered in a values-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience providing person-centred support to adults with intellectual disability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to dignity, choice, independence and inclusion in disability support.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and First Aid/CPR are required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised, person-centred support to adults with intellectual disability.
• Develop and facilitate activities reflecting participants' goals and interests.
• Support daily living, social, communication and community participation skills.
• Maintain accurate participant records and progress notes.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and other professionals to deliver quality supports.
• Escalate risks or changes in participant wellbeing to the team as needed.
