Qualifications

• Current and valid Australian LF and/or LO forklift licence.
• Proven high reach LO operator experience.
• Ability to work at heights within racking systems.
• Experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems preferred.
• Physically fit for repetitive lifting and manual handling.
• Willingness to perform warehouse duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate high reach forklifts and LO order picker equipment safely.
• Retrieve and store pallets in high-level racking.
• Perform elevated order picking using LO equipment.
• Replenish stock and move pallets through the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks and containers as required.
• Use RF scanners and warehouse systems for transactions.
• Pick, pack, label and dispatch orders.
• Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties.

The Opportunity

Australian Staffing Agency (ASA) is seeking reliable, experienced and safety-focused High Reach Forklift Operators and LO Order Picker Operators to join leading warehouse and distribution operations based at Brisbane Airport and surrounding northern Brisbane suburbs.

Immediate starts are available, with ongoing work opportunities for the right candidates.

These roles are ideal for experienced high reach and LO operators who are also happy to assist with general warehouse duties and manual handling tasks whenever forklift or order picker work is unavailable.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to contribute across all areas of warehouse operations as required.

Key Duties

• Operating high reach forklifts and/or LO order picking equipment safely and efficiently

• Retrieving and storing pallets in high-level racking

• Performing elevated order picking using LO equipment

• Replenishing stock and moving pallets throughout the warehouse

• Loading and unloading trucks and containers as required

• Using RF scanners and warehouse management systems

• Picking, packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch

• Assisting with stock replenishment and inventory checks

• Performing general warehouse duties and manual handling when equipment operation is unavailable

• Wrapping pallets, sorting stock and staging orders

• Conducting pre-start equipment inspections and safety checks

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• Current and valid Australian LF and/or LO forklift licence, appropriate to the equipment being operated

• Previous high reach forklift and/or LO order picker operating experience

• Confidence working at heights within warehouse racking systems

• Experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems preferred

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling

• Willingness to perform general warehouse duties and manual handling tasks whenever forklift or LO work is unavailable

• Flexible attitude and willingness to assist wherever required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
