Timber Yard Customer Service Team Member - Forklift Operator Preferred

We’re looking for a team member to work in our timber yard, operating forklifts to move products. This role is full time, flexible, and on shift.

About the role:

Our team members are the face of Bunnings, always prepared to give it a red-hot go. They provide a friendly and helpful service to everyone who walks through our doors, making sure every experience counts. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in moving products throughout the store to help our team provide the best experience for our customers.

This is a full‑time role, and flexibility to work a range of shifts across weekdays and weekends is required to ensure we can provide our customers with the best experience.

A forklift licence is preferred; however, training can be arranged for the right candidate.

We provide an adult pay rate for 18 years of age and above at $30.45 per hour for this role.

• Be responsible for stock management, considering safety aspects when using a forklift, and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment

Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for team members who are passionate about helping others and are keen to learn and grow. You’ll love variety in your day-to-day work, with a focus on forklift operation, inventory management and customer service, whilst also having the opportunity to grow your experience in other areas. A personal interest in D.I.Y. is always a plus, however we will give you all the skills you’ll need and show you the ropes.

You’ll need:

• A current valid forklift licence
• To be able to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers
• An eagerness to learn about products and services
• To act with integrity, be safe and do your best
• The availability to work flexible hours (including late nights, early mornings and weekends)
