Job summary

Accenture is seeking a skilled Database Engineer in Australia to design, build, and optimize enterprise databases supporting critical government and business systems. You will design and maintain relational and non-relational databases, perform installations, upgrades, tuning, and ensure security and governance across production environments.

We value 3–8+ years of solid database engineering or DBA experience, with strong knowledge of Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL and backup/recovery tools.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Solid knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with backup and recovery tools (RMAN, cloud tools).
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong Linux/Unix operating system knowledge.
• Experience in secure or regulated environments.
• Understanding of database security principles and access management.
• 3–8+ years of relevant database engineering or DBA experience.

Required Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with high availability / disaster recovery solutions

• Experience working in secure or regulated environments
