We help organisations secure their future — protecting people, data and systems through specialist expertise across managed technology, cyber, cloud, consulting and data protection. We’re growing fast, and our people are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

Our Data Protection & Privacy Services (DPPS) practice is growing, and we’re seeking a Consultant to deliver advisory and hands‑on data protection and privacy engagements for our clients.

Working closely with the Head of Data Protection & Privacy and cross-functional teams, you’ll bridge governance, risk, compliance and technical domains - helping clients meet evolving regulatory requirements and achieve robust data security outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver data protection and privacy engagements - advisory, strategy, frameworks and implementation support.
  • Run discovery workshops and engage business and technical stakeholders to translate regulatory needs into practical solutions.
  • Support the design, implementation and management of data protection tooling (DLP, DSPM, data classification & labelling, privacy management, insider risk).
  • Advise on privacy laws and frameworks including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), GDPR and relevant sectoral regulations.
  • Contribute to service line growth through high-quality delivery, thought leadership and pre‑sales support.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in data protection, privacy or a closely related cyber/compliance discipline.
  • Sound understanding of privacy laws and frameworks (APPs, GDPR, sectoral regulations).
  • Technical understanding of data protection tooling such as DLP, DSPM, data classification & labelling and insider risk management.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to interpret and operationalise regulatory requirements.
  • Highly ethical, client‑focused and pragmatic — balancing compliance with business needs.
Nice to have
  • Hands‑on experience implementing or managing data protection tools (e.g. Microsoft Purview, BigID).
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments.

  • Ongoing investment in your development — certifications, training and clear career pathways.
  • Work alongside some of the best specialists in the Australian market.
