Job summary

NTT DATA in Melbourne seeks an experienced Data Engineer to design and build modern cloud data platforms, enabling scalable analytics, reporting, and AI solutions. You will develop data pipelines, lakehouse solutions and data models using Microsoft Azure and Fabric technologies.

Collaborate with architects, analysts and data scientists to deliver data-driven outcomes, implement governance and CI/CD, and ensure scalable, cost-efficient data solutions across enterprise customers.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing or Cloud Data Platform development.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services and Fabric technologies.
Hands-on SQL development and data modelling skills.
Experience with Python and PySpark for data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes.
Build and maintain data platforms using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services.
Develop Lakehouse, Data Warehouse and Data Factory solutions in Microsoft Fabric.
Implement data integration across cloud and on-prem sources.
Design and optimise data models to support analytics, reporting and AI.
Develop data transformation with SQL, Spark and Python.
Implement data quality, governance and security controls.
Monitor and optimise platform performance, reliability and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver data-driven outcomes.
Support CI/CD implementation and automated deployment practices.
