Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data modelling specialist to own and govern data models end-to-end in a modern data platform environment. You will lead data ingestion, transformation, and delivery from inception through to production, while working with consumers, developers, testers, and IT teams.

You will drive adoption of Snowflake, AWS services, and Splunk integration, shaping data governance and modelling design across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong data modelling skills required.
• Experience with Snowflake data platform.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Splunk integration and data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Establish peer review and data modelling release guidelines.
• Lead the technical implementation of new data from inception to delivery.
• Work closely with data consumers, database developers, testers, and IT support teams.
• Manage data modelling functions within the organisation.
• Support and/or drive the design, build, and implementation of data transformation.
• Work alongside clients.
