A leading health service provider in Australia is seeking a role focused on coordinating Electronic Medical Records and ensuring optimal data quality. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Power BI, SQL, and Excel, along with experience in managing tight deadlines and liaising with IT staff. You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH), one of the nation’s most respected hospitals. Our facilities and services are world‑class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring. This position key role is to coordinate the Operating Theatres Electronic Medical Record (EMR), relevant databases including Surginet and Htrak applications, and the Data Mart (Outcomes and Research database) requirements and liaise with the relevant IM&T staff to facilitate development of the relevant systems to meet these requirements. The position is also responsible for ensuring optimal data quality in the Operating Theatres Electronic Medical Record (EMR) to meet the Service’s clinical, research, business intelligence and mandatory and statutory reporting requirements.
The ideal candidate will manage competing demands and tight time frames while coordinating EMR systems, ensuring data quality, liaising with IT staff, facilitating development of relevant systems, and meeting mandatory clinical, research, and business intelligence reporting requirements.
This is a Category A position. To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2024_015).
