XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a senior data engineer to design and implement data pipelines in Salesforce Data Cloud across Dev to Production. You will build DMO/DSO objects, manage data ingestion, and align with enterprise standards.

The role requires 3–5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and hands-on experience with Databricks or data lake environments, plus governance of change across multiple delivery environments.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Salesforce Data Cloud
• Design and build Data Model Objects (DMOs), Data StreamObjects (DSOs), and source-to-model mapping layers within Salesforce Data Cloud(SFDC360).
• Develop and maintain data offload solutions between the DataCloud and upstream or downstream platforms.
• Configure and validate Identity Resolution (IR) rulesets andunified contact profiles within the Data Cloud environment.
• Support deployments across development, SIT, UAT, pre-production,and production environments - including preparation of implementation plans,change management documentation, and post-go-live validation.
• Manage and govern data onboarding processes including datadictionaries, attribute mapping reviews, and build validation.
• 3–5+ years of hands‑on data engineering experience in acomplex enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Data Cloud -including DMO/DSO development, data ingestion, identity resolution, andend-to-end deployment lifecycle management.
• Strong working knowledge of Databricks, data lake, orsimilar UDP environment, including batch and streaming ingestion patterns andpipeline orchestration.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language(Python preferred) for data transformation and pipeline development.
