Working closely with the Digital & Technology Services team and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure data is accessible, reliable, and ready to drive informed decision‑making and high‑quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage data transformation processes and authoritative, reusable data assets—including ongoing development of the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across the organisation.
  • Partner with business SMEs and technical teams to translate data needs into fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
  • Enable decentralised teams with access to raw and transformed data for ad hoc reporting and insights.
  • Use Power BI expertise to build reports, uplift usage, and coach business teams to develop and maintain their own reporting.
  • Support and enhance a federated Power BI model, ensuring alignment with standards and best practices.
  • Follow organisational standards and policies to maintain the security, integrity, and effectiveness of the digital, IT, and spatial environments.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline with strong industry experience.
  • Microsoft/Azure certifications are highly regarded.
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering data analytics solutions (cloud and on‑prem).
  • Advanced Power BI development capability.
  • Strong skills in data integration, ETL/ELT tools, and scripting languages (PowerShell, SQL).
  • Experience with Boomi, Azure Data Factory, data warehousing, and data modelling.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high‑quality datasets, tables, views, and reporting assets.
  • Exposure to AI/ML integration within data pipelines is an advantage.
