Job summary

MediAesthetics is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and optimise a cloud data platform on a 3-month contract in Sydney. You’ll deliver scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ingest data from multiple sources, and implement API integrations using Python and SQL within Azure Databricks.

You will partner with Technology, Analytics and business stakeholders to ensure high quality data supports BI, analytics and decision making across the organisation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in a Data Engineering or similar role.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience, including query optimisation and complex transformations.
• Practical experience using Python for automation, scripting and data processing.
• Experience working with Azure, Databricks and cloud-based data platforms.
• Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes and API integrations.
• Experience with Git, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join MediAesthetics on a 3-month contract and help strengthen the foundations of our cloud data platform.

Working within our Technology team, you'll play a hands-on role designing, building and optimising data pipelines across Azure Databricks and our wider data ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, improving data quality and delivering scalable solutions that support business intelligence, analytics and decision-making.
