Novon is seeking an experienced Data Engineer in Sydney for a permanent, hybrid role. You will design and build data pipelines and cloud-based platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Requirements include 6+ years in Data Engineering, strong Python/SQL, and hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Spark, and Kafka. Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential.

Competenze

• 6+ years of commercial Data Engineering experience.
• Strong development experience using Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks or Snowflake).
• Experience building data pipelines with dbt and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Experience with Spark/PySpark and streaming with Kafka.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns and data warehousing concepts.

As our Data Practice continues to grow, we are looking for experienced Data Engineers to design, build and deliver modern data platforms and scalable data solutions. **The Opportunity** As a Data Engineer at Novon, you will design and develop reliable data pipelines, integration services and cloud-based data platforms.
