Star of the Sea School in Henley Beach, SA, invites a dedicated Primary Teacher to join as a replacement for 2027. You will nurture a positive, inclusive classroom aligned with Catholic values and engage in data-informed planning to lift outcomes.

You will contribute to innovative pedagogy, foster wellbeing, and build strong partnerships with students, families and staff while pursuing ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Support the Catholic ethos at Star of the Sea.
• Demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the role requirements.
• Create a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and student growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment and effectively teach students to achieve required learning outcomes.
• Establish and maintain collaborative and supportive professional relationships with students, staff and families.

Responsabilités

• Actively support and contribute to the Catholic identity at Star of the Sea School.
• Demonstrate the use of data to inform teaching programs, that lead to improved outcomes for all students and be able to outline how this is used for extending students.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of contemporary, innovative and inclusive pedagogies that focus on student engagement across all curriculum areas.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that prioritises student wellbeing and social and emotional learning, helping students develop self-regulation, positive behaviour, personal responsibility and success as learners.
• Demonstrate an ability to influence high-quality teaching and learning beyond your classroom.
• Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with learners, colleagues, parents and the broader community
• Be a dynamic and highly organised educator committed to ongoing professional growth and collaborative learning with a willingness to implement new initiatives.
