Job summary

Lorna Jane Pty is seeking a Merchandise Trade Planner to join our Head Office in Eagle Farm. You’ll translate sales, stock and performance data into decisions that protect margin and maximise sell-through, balancing strategic plans with rapid execution.

You’ll build and interpret Excel dashboards, collaborate across Retail, eCommerce, Finance and Marketing, and own reporting accuracy end-to-end. This role suits numbers-driven professionals who stay customer-focused.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial acumen and merchant instinct.
• Proven trading and planning expertise.
• Confident analytical thinking and strong working knowledge of Excel and reporting tools.
• Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Understand how product performs in market and make sharp, commercially grounded decisions to maximise sell-through and protect margin.
• Hold the plan and the trade simultaneously; know when to stick to strategy and when to act on data.
• Interrogate sales, stock and performance data with confidence, translating numbers into clear findings and actionable recommendations.
• Bring meticulous accuracy to building reports, updating listings and running replenishment.
• Stay focused on outcomes and sell-through; proactively identifying what isn’t working and moving quickly to address it.
• Build productive relationships across Retail, eCommerce, Finance and Marketing to ensure smooth strategy execution.
• Build, maintain and interpret the Excel dashboards and models the team relies on.
