Job summary

Alliance SI is seeking an experienced Data Centre Cabling Technician to support high-profile telecommunications projects for global data centre and hyperscale clients. You will handle structured cabling (Cat6A, fibre optics, MPO/MTP), install equipment powering cloud infrastructure, and work in clean, high-density rack environments on-site in NSW.

Ideal candidates hold ACMA licence with endorsements, NSW Electrical Licence, and NV1 clearance or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• ACMA licence with endorsements in structured, coaxial and fibre optics.
• Electrical Licence NSW required or highly regarded.
• NV1 security clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Strong understanding of data cabling standards and industry practices.
• Excellent safety awareness and attention to detail.
• Proven leadership ability with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Support structured cabling needs for projects pushing the AI revolution (Cat6A, fibre, MPO/MTP).
• Install equipment powering the Cloud infrastructure.

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations to deliver quality outcomes under tight timeframes.
• Interpret and execute work from project scopes, specs and drawings.

• Maintain top-tier workmanship upholding all HSEQ standards.

What we're looking for
