Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Centre Security Manager to own the physical and operational security of critical infrastructure in Australia. You will set security strategy, manage budgets, lead projects, and drive improvements across security practices.

You will collaborate across operations, engineering, HR, logistics and construction, act as trusted advisor to bridge government requirements with world-class cloud infrastructure, and align procedures with AWS policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in physical security best practices and physical security systems.
• Experience managing contract security guards and incident management.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement security requirements spanning personnel, physical, operational, technical, and industrial security.
• Draft and review security documentation, transportation plans, procedures, and CONOPs.
• Direct onsite security forces and manage daily security operations.
• Own and analyze security program P&L and align with policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors; support audits and on-call rotations.
