Job summary

Jemena is seeking a Data Centre Network Planning Engineer to support the planning, modelling and development of network infrastructure that enables reliable, resilient and sustainable growth. You will work closely with engineering, operations and customer teams to forecast demand, run PSS/E studies and identify constraints to propose effective solutions.

We're seeking a Data Centre Network Planning Engineer to support the planning, modelling and development of network infrastructure that enables reliable, resilient and sustainable growth.

Working collaboratively across engineering, operations and customer teams, you'll help identify future network needs, develop planning solutions and contribute to investment decisions that support long-term business objectives.

What You'll Do

• Undertake demand forecasting, network modelling using PSS®E and technical analysis such as contingency, voltage and fault level studies,
• Identify network constraints and recommend solutions.
• Prepare planning advice, technical reports, project scope of works and investment recommendations.
• Support customer connections and infrastructure expansion projects.
• Work collaboratively with internal engineering and delivery teams, customers, consultants, AEMO, VicGrid, AusNet and other network businesses.

About You
