Job summary

WSP in Australia is looking for a Senior Design Manager to lead design governance for complex data centre projects. This crucial role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams and establishing design vision from concept to commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering and substantial experience in engineering consultancy, focusing on design management for large projects. They will ensure that all design delivery aligns with client and project objectives, adhering to the highest standards throughout.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an engineering consultancy leading design delivery on complex projects.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging clients and leading diverse teams.
• Working knowledge of Australian codes and standards (NCC, AS/NZS).

Responsibilities

• Lead design governance across complex, multidisciplinary data centre programs.
• Establish and drive design management frameworks and schedules.
• Facilitate design reviews and risk workshops for decision-making.
