Job summary

Rm Staffing Bv is seeking an experienced Data Center Technician for on-site contract work in Noble Park North, Australia. You will support mission-critical data center infrastructure through hardware installations, migrations, and cross-connects.

The role requires 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, strong cabling skills, and familiarity with server hardware. DCIM and ticketing experience, plus relevant certifications, are preferred. On-site work and local transport are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional English communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
