Job summary

Equinix in Australia is seeking a Concierge to provide exceptional customer service within our data center. This permanent, Monday–Friday role focuses on handling routine admin tasks, coordinating visits, and maintaining strong client relationships onsite.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized in handling routing tasks, and comfortable engaging with customers to identify trends and address concerns as they arise.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, reception, or admin preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to datacenter facilities and administrative duties following standard procedures.
• Coordinate visits and schedules in the data center and assist with inquiries.
• Coordinate activities with the Equinix Response Center (ERC) as needed.
• Maintain records of activities, inventories, and labor hours.
• Generate purchase requisitions and liaise with vendors for delivery and invoicing.
• Produce Siebel reports for customer SH requests.
• Assist security with supervising the security office and visitor sign-in.
• Report security incidents to the Security Operations Control Centre.
• Support IBX Operations teams with ad hoc tasks including parking, CCTV, and access control data retrieval.
