Job summary

BallyCara is seeking a Data Analytics Specialist to transform data into actionable insights and engaging Power BI dashboards. You’ll partner with stakeholders to define reporting needs and deliver dashboards, reports and analytics across the organisation.

The role involves maintaining the Azure/Databricks data environment, ensuring data quality and governance, and supporting future data initiatives for improved decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience building dashboards and reports with Power BI (Tableau experience considered).
• Strong SQL skills for data prep, cleaning and analysis.
• Experience using Python for data analysis or automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Experience with Azure, Databricks or cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and clinical teams to understand reporting and analytic requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain engaging Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyse data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop analytical data models that support reporting and self-service analytics.
• Ensure data quality, governance and security across reporting datasets.
• Monitor data pipelines and integrations to support reliable reporting.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve business processes.
• Support document generation, forms and workflow improvements.
• Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.
• Promote data literacy and continuous improvement across the organisation.
