Job summary

HorizonOne Recruitment Pty is helping a newly established Commonwealth regulator fill a data analyst role in Canberra, focusing on elevating reporting and data maturity. You will enhance SharePoint intranet and Power BI reporting, turning business requirements into practical, well-documented solutions and providing training and handover materials.

The role is six months with a three-month extension option, offering hybrid work (Canberra-based with up to two days WFH) in a regulatory environment,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing SharePoint Online sites and Power BI reports/dashboards in Microsoft 365.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, documented solutions and hand them over.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the agency’s reporting environment across SharePoint intranet and Power BI reporting.
• Develop and enhance SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, forms and workflows.
• Implement and maintain permissions, access controls and information management practices.
• Enhance and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and datasets.
• Build forms, workflows and automation in Power Apps and Power Automate where needed.
• Deliver training, user guides and technical documentation.
• Support testing, deployment and handover so staff can run the solutions after contract ends.
