Job summary

Peoplebank is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to join our client on a fully remote basis. The role demands 5+ years of data analysis experience, with strong SQL and hands-on Databricks/Tableau knowledge, enabling you to translate complex data into clear business insights.

Ideal candidates will work autonomously in a remote environment, bridging data with business decisions while contributing to a collaborative team culture and delivering data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Data Analyst.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or Tableau.
• Business acumen and ability to link data insights to performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualisations using Databricks and/or Tableau.
• Translate data into actionable business insights, clearly explaining the why behind the numbers.
• Monitor business performance, investigate variances, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate analytical findings, insights, and business impacts to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Partner with business teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations.
• Take ownership of analytical activities, manage priorities independently, and deliver outcomes in a remote working environment.

Our client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst with 5+ years of experience and strong expertise in SQL, along with hands-on experience in Databricks or Tableau.

This role is suited to a proactive, commercially minded analyst who can work autonomously in a remote environment and effectively bridge the gap between data and business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse complex datasets using SQL to identify trends, patterns, and performance drivers.
