Job summary

Brennan is seeking a hands-on Data & AI Consultant to deliver Microsoft Fabric-based data platforms and AI solutions. You will contribute to inception, discovery, design, build, test and deployment, while collaborating with senior staff to deliver analytics and automation for client engagements.

Work from Brennan offices in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane; travel may be required. Strong experience with Databricks/Snowflake is advantageous, along with current Microsoft certifications being valued

Qualifications

Recent, relevant experience delivering data, analytics or AI solutions in consulting or client environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric solutions, supported by Azure and Power BI.
Modern data platform experience spanning data integration, engineering, lakehouse/warehouse, analytics and production support.
Experience building AI solutions with document processing, retrieval-grounded generation and secure production deployment.
Strong prompt engineering, retrieval design, and evaluation against measurable quality criteria.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work from an agreed architecture.

Responsibilities

Participate in project inception, technical discovery and solution design in client engagements.
Deliver assigned technical workstreams from design through build, testing, deployment and handover under senior direction.
Plan and manage delivery tasks, estimates, dependencies, risks, quality checks and acceptance criteria.
Translate customer requirements into production-ready outcomes using Microsoft Fabric and AI.
Design and build Fabric-led data platforms including data integration, lakehouse or warehouse design and analytics.
Develop Microsoft AI and Copilot Studio solutions integrated with enterprise data and processes.
Build retrieval-grounded AI solutions with structured outputs and source grounding.
Apply production AI patterns including security, monitoring, and lifecycle support.
